Preparation:

Deep-fry 8 slices of bacon until very crisp. Pat dry with paper towels, then chop finely and spread on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes. Cool on clean paper towels until they have absorbed most of the fat.
