Ingredients:
- 4 ears of sugar corn (young corn with white or light yellow grains)
- 1 clove of garlic
- 6 tbsp (90 g) butter at room temperature
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce (See barbecue sauce recipes here)
- 1 tbsp ancho chili powder
Preparation:
- Prepare the spiced oil: In a food processor, combine butter with 1 clove of garlic, barbecue sauce and a tablespoon ground ancho chili pepper until smooth. You should have about 1 cup. Rub the corn with three-quarters of the seasoned oil and wrap in foil.
- To grill corn: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and cook the corn, turning frequently, until tender, 15 minutes. Once cooked, let cool, remove from the foil, and rub with the remaining seasoned oil. Season with salt.
The dish can be served as side dish for turkey.
