Ingredients:
- 450 g thinly sliced baked pork (see recipe)
- 450 g thinly sliced smoked ham
- 4 portioned loaves Cuban bread
- 225 g of sliced Swiss cheese
- 1 cup sliced pickled cucumbers
- 4 tbsp (60 g) butter
Preparation:
- Preheat a grill pan. Cut Cuban bread in half lengthwise. Butter each half of the bread. Assemble each sandwich with roast pork, ham, cheese, and pickles.
- Place the sandwiches on the hot grill and press them with a cast-iron waffle iron to flatten them. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Cut in half and serve.
