Chow mein noodles

Ingredients:

  • 220 g of thin lo mein noodles
  • 1 tbsp. l. peanut butter
  • 1 carrot, cut into thin strips
  • Half a head of Chinese cabbage, finely shredded
  • Half an onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup lightly salted soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • Chopped green onions, for sprinkling

Preparation:

  1. Bring a saucepan of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain and set the noodles aside.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and pour in the peanut oil. Add the carrots, cabbage, and onion and cook for 1 minute. Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, and sesame oil, then stir in the noodles. Serve garnished with green onions and breaded chicken wings.
