Chocolate fondant made from cocoa

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 heaping tablespoons of cocoa
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 110 g melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Serve with sweet whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 160⁰C.
  2. Beat the eggs until foamy. Add the sugar and beat until completely dissolved. Add the cocoa, flour, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Gently mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into 4 large molds. Place them in a larger baking dish half-filled with boiling water.
  4. Bake for 40-50 minutes until the crust is crisp and the dough is partially set. If you're unsure whether the dessert is done after removing it from the oven, return it to the oven for another 10 minutes.

    Serve with sweet whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
