Sausages in yeast dough

Preparation:

Cut 450 gr. bagel dough Divide into 8 pieces. Roll each into a 30 cm (12 in) rope and wrap around a sausage. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet, cover, and let rise until risen, 45 minutes.

Bring 3 liters of water to a boil with 0.5 cups of baking soda and 2 tablespoons of salt. Cook the sausages, wrapped in dough, in batches, turning once, for 1 minute. Transfer to a baking sheet; brush with a beaten egg, sprinkle with salt, and bake at 200°C (400°F) until browned, 15-20 minutes. Serve the sausages in yeast dough with mustard.
