Chocolate Brownie with Whole Wheat Flour topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 200 g of broken dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
- 1 cup whole grain flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 0.5 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 tbsp. canola oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation:
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water, stirring constantly; make sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.
Combine flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda in a medium bowl. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and brown sugar until smooth, then add the yogurt, oil, and vanilla and whisk to combine. Add all ingredients and combine.
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Spray a baking dish with non-stick spray.
Spread the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with nuts, if desired. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool in the pan or on a wire rack before slicing.
