Sweet steamed carrots topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 450g carrots, peeled, cut in half lengthwise, then cut into 5-7cm pieces
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil, plus a little extra for drizzling
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- A pinch of dried pepper flakes
- Chopped parsley for sprinkling
Preparation:
- Steam the carrots until tender, about 15 minutes. Then add salt to taste.
Meanwhile, simmer the garlic in the apple cider vinegar, olive oil, and sugar for 3 minutes. Add a pinch of salt and red pepper flakes.
Mix carrots with sweet garlic and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with parsley.
