Blueberry Loose Cake with Sponge Cake Mix topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- Two 350g bags of frozen berries
- 1 package (250 g) yellow sponge cake mix
- 1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup oatmeal
- 110 g (8 tbsp) melted unsalted butter
- Cooking spray or butter to grease the pan
- Ice cream or whipped cream, for serving
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or grease with butter.
- Place the berries in the prepared pan. Sprinkle the cake mixture evenly over the berries. Sprinkle with walnuts and oats. Drizzle evenly with butter.
- Bake until golden brown and firm, about 55 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
