Ingredients:
- 8 small potato buns
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
- 2 tbsp. barbecue sauce
- 4 romaine lettuce leaves, torn into pieces
- 2 slices fried bacon or 1 slice ham (or Canadian bacon)
- 4 thin slices roast turkey (about 60 g)
- 1 cup grape or cherry tomatoes
- Pickled or salted cucumbers
Preparation:
- Cut the potato buns in half and toast them in a toaster or broiler. Spread a little mayonnaise and barbecue sauce on the bottom and top halves of each bun. Layer them with lettuce, bacon or ham, and turkey.
- Cover with the top half of the bun. Place in an airtight container and send to school.
