Plum wine sangria topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- Half a bottle (750 ml) of plum wine, chilled
- 1.5 cups white wine (recommended: Pinot Grigio)
- 2 bags of green tea with honey
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- 1 can (300 g) of canned tangerines in juice
- 1 cup lychee and 0.5 cups liquid from the jar
Preparation:
- In a small saucepan, bring the white wine to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove from the stove and cool completely.
- In a large pitcher, combine frozen cherries, chilled white wine with green tea, tangerines with juice, and lychees with juice.
- Pair the drink with plum wine. Serve the sangria chilled in wine glasses and with deli sandwich.
