Grilled Mango with Jalapeño Peppers

Ingredients:

  • 3 mangoes
  • Cayenne pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil to drizzle over the mango
  • 1 lime, cut in half
  • 0.5 cup Mexican sour cream (or 1/3 cup sour cream mixed with 2 tablespoons milk)
  • Thinly sliced ​​jalapeño pepper and cilantro, for serving

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat. Peel the mango and cut the flesh away from the pit into large, flat slices; place them on a baking sheet. Sprinkle the mango slices with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper, and drizzle with olive oil. Flip the slices and repeat.
  2. Grill the mango, turning once, until crisp grill marks appear, about 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and drizzle with lime juice. Serve with sour cream and garnish with jalapeño and cilantro.
