Stewed green beans with tomatoes

Preparation:

Pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil into a saucepan and sauté the chopped onion for about 5 minutes. Add 0.5 kg of trimmed green beans, 400 g of pureed tomatoes, 1 1/4 cups of water, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, and a pinch of cinnamon. Cover and simmer for 35 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
