Yogurt ice cream with chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 240 g dark chocolate granules
  • 1.5 cups of 1% milk
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt 2%

Preparation:

  1. Place chocolate chips in a medium glass bowl.

    In a medium saucepan, combine milk, cocoa, sugar, vanilla, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Place over medium heat. Stir constantly for 5–7 minutes, until the cocoa is dissolved and the mixture comes to a boil.

    Remove the pan from the stove and pour the milk mixture over the chocolate chips. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then gently whisk until the chocolate is completely melted. Then stir in the yogurt and let it cool completely.
  2. Divide the mixture evenly among 8 popsicle molds (about 1/3 cup per mold) and freeze for at least 5 hours (can be frozen for up to a month). Before serving, run the mold under running hot water for a second and remove the ice cream.
