Oatmeal cookies with chocolate, raisins and nuts

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1.5 cups of oatmeal
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (wholemeal flour)
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped chocolate
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup walnuts

Preparation:

  1. Whisk the brown sugar, egg, and egg whites in a bowl. Add the vegetable oil, oatmeal, whole-wheat flour, wheat germ, baking soda, and salt, one at a time, stirring in between. Then add the chopped chocolate, raisins, and walnuts and mix well.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then drop tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, gently smoothing the surface. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the cookies until golden brown, 12-15 minutes.
