White wine sangria with mint

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of Spanish white wine
  • 1/4 cup superfine sugar
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1.5 cups halved seedless green grapes
  • 1 cup of apple juice
  • 1/2 bunch fresh mint leaves
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 can (340 ml) of sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Preparation:

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the wine and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the remaining ingredients, except the sparkling water, and stir well.

    Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it sit for at least 1 hour or up to 4 hours. Just before serving, add sparkling water and ice cubes.
