Mini sandwiches with meatballs, fries, and pickles topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
French fries
- 560 g frozen French fries
Cutlets
- 450 g of ground beef
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp lemon pepper
- 0.5 tsp seasoned salt
- 0.5 tsp coarse salt
- 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 slices American cheese, cut into pieces
Slider sandwiches
- 4 lettuce leaves, torn into small pieces
- 8 teaspoons ketchup
- 8 teaspoons mayonnaise
- 8 thin slices of small red onion
- 8 plum tomato slices
- 8 slices of pickled cucumber
Preparation:
- French fries:
Bake the fries in the oven for 20 minutes (according to package directions).
Cutlets:
Place the ground beef in a bowl and mix with garlic powder, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands and form into eight 60g (2.5oz) patties. Set the patties aside on a plate.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 3 minutes. Flip the patties over and cook for another 30–45 seconds, then top each patty with a small slice of cheese. Cover the skillet and cook for another 3 minutes. The cheese will melt better under the lid. Transfer the patties to a plate.
- Place a lettuce leaf on the fries, drizzle with 1 teaspoon of ketchup and 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise. Add red onion and place a patty on top. Top with a tomato slice, then a pickle slice. Top with another french fry and secure with a toothpick. Assemble 7 more sandwiches in the same way and enjoy!
