Ingredients:
- 4 cups strawberries (set aside 6 berries for garnish)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp. l. strawberry liqueur
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 6 savoiardi biscuits (lady fingers)
- 6 fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
Preparation:
- Place strawberries in a bowl, sprinkle with granulated sugar, pour over strawberry liqueur and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine the cream and powdered sugar in a mixer bowl and beat until soft peaks form. Mash the strawberries with a fork and fold them into the cream.
- Divide the cream among the bowls. Crumble the cookies on top. Garnish each serving with a sprig of mint and a strawberry.
