Ingredients:
- 1 cup warm water (about 25°C)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, diced, at room temperature
- 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp. l. skimmed milk powder
- 1.5 tsp coarse salt
- 3 cups of bread flour
- 1 and 1/4 teaspoons of instant yeast
- Special equipment: bread maker for baking weighing 900 g.
Preparation:
- Place the dough ingredients into the bread machine's baking pan in the following order: water, butter, sugar, milk powder, salt, bread flour, and yeast. Set the machine to bake a 700g loaf of regular bread (or just the dough, depending on your model) and start the cycle (see Note).
- Once the cycle is complete, immediately remove the bread from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

Settings, cycles, and cooking times may vary depending on your bread maker model. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions. This recipe was tested on a Cuisinart CBK-110 automatic bread maker.
