Coconut and Macadamia Nut Cookies topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 package (500 g) ready-made sugar cookie mix
- 1 egg
- 110 g melted butter
- 3/4 cup sweet coconut flakes
- 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
- 1/2 cup broken white chocolate for decoration
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 190C.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the white chocolate. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Using a tablespoon, drop the dough onto a greased baking sheet. Bake for 15-16 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool for 1 minute.
- Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring after each microwave-safe cycle. Decorate the cookies with chocolate chips or stripes.
