Traditional fried rice

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of crushed garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped ginger root
  • 1 bunch chopped green onions (white parts separated from green parts)
  • 1 diced Chinese sausage or 4 strips fried bacon
  • 8 cups of yesterday's cooked long-grain rice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 0.5 tsp white pepper

Preparation:

  1. Add 2 tablespoons of oil to a wok and quickly cook the eggs until soft and fluffy. Remove the eggs from the pan. Add oil and fry the garlic and ginger, stirring constantly. Add the white part of the green onions and the sausage.
  2. Add the rice and mix thoroughly. Add the soy sauce, white pepper, and fried egg. Season with salt to taste. Serve immediately.
