Baked Acorn Squash Halves

Ingredients:

  • 1 large acorn squash, washed (about 700 g)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Fresh thyme sprigs for serving

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C.
  2. Cut the pumpkin in half and remove the seeds and strings. Place the pumpkin halves on a baking sheet. Brush with butter and season with salt and pepper. Bake until the pumpkin is tender, 50-55 minutes.
  3. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with thyme sprigs, if using. Serve the pumpkin halves warm or at room temperature.
