Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1-3 tablespoons hot sauce, such as Frank's
- 2 tbsp store-bought fried onions, such as French's
Preparation:
- In a large heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and cook until darkened and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add the romaine lettuce in batches and cook, turning with tongs and adding more lettuce, until wilted, about 3 minutes. Add the hot sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Top with fried onions.
