Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy salted peanut butter
- 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 1 large egg
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, brown sugar, and egg and beat with a mixer on high speed until smooth, 2–3 minutes. Form 1 tablespoon of dough into balls and distribute evenly on two baking sheets. Flatten each ball with the tines of a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
- Bake until set and golden brown around the edges, about 10 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet for 1 minute, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely, about 30 minutes.
