Ingredients:
- 600 gr. grated mozzarella
- 450 g cream cheese, softened
- 7 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspoons coarse salt
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 170 g tomato sauce
- 110 g thin slices of pepperoni
- Lightly toast the pita bread, cut into triangles
Preparation:
- In a food processor, combine all ingredients except the tomato sauce, pepperoni, and pita bread, scraping down the sides of the bowl to combine evenly.
- Shape the cheese mixture into the desired shape. Make several indentations on the top.
- Pour tomato sauce into the cavities. Cover the entire surface of the cheese ball with pepperoni slices. Serve with pita bread.
