Ingredients:
Spice mix
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1.5 tsp paprika
- 1.5 tsp chopped fresh thyme
- 3/4 tsp ground mustard
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Nuts
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup unsalted raw cashews
- 1 cup unsalted raw peanuts
- 1 cup unsalted raw pecans
- 1 cup unsalted raw walnuts
- 1.5 cups mini pretzels
- Vegetable oil to grease the baking sheet
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 175°C. Lightly grease a rimmed baking sheet with vegetable oil.
- Spice mix: Combine sugar, paprika, thyme, mustard, cinnamon, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper in a small bowl and set aside.
- NutsPlace the egg white in a large bowl and whisk until foamy. Add the cashews, peanuts, pecans, walnuts, and pretzels and stir to coat. Add the spice mixture and stir again to coat.
- Spread the nut mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, 15-20 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet, then transfer the mixture to a large bowl.
