Breadsticks with sprinkles topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 large sheet of puff pastry (half a 500g package), defrosted
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp. poppy seed, sesame and dried onion topping
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 190°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut a sheet of puff pastry in half crosswise, then cut each half into nine 2.5cm-wide strips and twist each strip several times. Transfer to a baking sheet, brush each twist with beaten egg, and sprinkle with poppy seed and sesame seeds.
- Bake for 18 minutes, then rotate the pan and continue baking until the puffs are deep golden brown, 4 more minutes.
- Let cool and serve.
