Cheese balls topped with pretzel crumbs

Ingredients:

  • 220 g of cream cheese
  • 1 cup smoked Gouda
  • 2 tablespoons pimento peppers
  • 2 tbsp. green onions

Preparation:

  1. Using a mixer, beat 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with 1 cup of grated smoked Gouda, 2 tablespoons each of chopped pimento peppers and green onions, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into 2.5cm balls, place them on a plate and refrigerate until slightly firm, at least 2 hours.
  3. Just before serving, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon paprika and roll in crushed pretzels.
