Polenta Fries with Parmesan topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 500 g polenta
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Flour
- Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
Preparation:
- Cut one tube of prepared polenta (500 g) into 1 cm thick strips, like French fries. Roll the polenta strips, several at a time, in flour.
- Fry in 2.5 cm of vegetable oil preheated to 190°C (375°F) until lightly golden and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and sprinkle with grated Parmesan and finely chopped mixed herbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
