Brown rice in the oven topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups brown rice, medium or round grain
- 2.5 cups of water
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 190°C. Pour rice into a 20cm square glass baking dish.
- Combine water, butter, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once the water boils, pour it over the rice, stir, and cover the pan tightly with heavy-duty foil. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, remove the foil and fluff the rice with a fork. Serve immediately.
