Cookies with sour milk

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups premium flour + extra for work
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cups of sour milk or kefir
  • 220 g softened butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C.
  2. Sift the flour, baking soda, and baking powder into a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. The dough will be soft and moist. On a floured surface, shape the dough into a disk, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Flour your work surface again and roll out the dough to a thickness of approximately 0.5 cm. Cut out the desired shapes from the dough and bake on a lightly greased baking sheet for 10-12 minutes.
