Fried green peas

Ingredients:

  • 0.7 kg fresh sugar snap peas in pods
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1.5 tsp coarse salt
  • 3/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • Sea salt or flaky salt, for serving

Preparation:

  1. Remove the stem ends with string from each sugar snap pea pod.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sugar snap peas, salt, and black pepper and cook, tossing occasionally, for 3-5 minutes, until crisp-tender.
  3. Place sugar snap peas in a serving bowl, sprinkle with sea salt and serve.
