Salmon fillet in teriyaki sauce with broccoli in an air fryer

topcook.tomathouse.com

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets with skin (170 g each)
  • 2 cups small broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. rice vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 cm ginger root, peeled and grated
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • Cooked white rice, for serving
  • Additional device: air grill with a capacity of 5.3 l.

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, toss the broccoli with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to coat all the florets. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the broccoli to a 5.3-quart air fryer.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sugar, vinegar (or 2 tablespoons of store-bought teriyaki sauce), cornstarch, and ginger. Brush the salmon fillets on all sides with the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, then brush with the sauce. Place the salmon fillets, flesh side down, on top of the broccoli.
  3. Grill at 350°F (190°C) until the broccoli is tender and the salmon is cooked through, 10-12 minutes for medium to well-done, depending on the thickness of the fish fillet. Divide the salmon and broccoli among plates, garnish with green onions, and serve with rice.
