Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp hot chili sauce
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 cups puffed rice cereal (breakfast cereal)
  • 1 cup cornflakes
  • 2/3 cup whole grain pita chips, broken into pieces
  • 0.5 cups unsalted peeled pumpkin seeds

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C.

    In a bowl, combine olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, hot chili sauce, garlic powder, cumin, onion powder, cayenne pepper and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine the rice cereal, cornflakes, pita chips, and pumpkin seeds. Toss with the spice mixture and spread on a baking sheet. Bake, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 40 minutes.
