Grilled smoked pork cutlets with sweet and sour glaze topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil + extra for greasing grill grates
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 8 thin (about 1 cm each) smoked pork chops on the bone
Preparation:
- Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a plastic bag large enough to hold all the cutlets, combine the sugar, honey, vegetable oil, lime juice, and red pepper flakes. Add the pork cutlets and marinate for at least 20 minutes.
- Remove the pork from the marinade. Lightly oil the grill grate. Place the patties on the grill and cook until grill marks appear, about 2 minutes. Rotate the patties 90 degrees and cook for another 2 minutes to create a grid pattern. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes on the other side. Transfer the patties from the grill to a platter and serve.
